Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing our inventory strategy by combining replenishment, supply, and demand planning into a seamless process.

Your work will ensure inventory levels meet demand forecasts while optimizing stock turnover and minimizing excess inventory.

About the Role
  • Analyse market trends and historical data to forecast product demand
  • Collaborate with merchandise, marketing, and supply chain teams
  • Review and approve purchase orders and store replenishment recommendations
  • Manage purchase orders and supplier performance
  • Act as a key liaison between merchandising roles for inventory efficiency
  • Prepare and present stock performance reports
Requirements
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Understanding of merchandise strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory management within a retail setting
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience with planning tools or systems (Blue Yonder is preferred)
