Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tactical Ag Sales Operations Manager to lead the operational and sales functions of our agricultural rental and procurement business.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will manage a multimillion-dollar inventory, oversee procurement activities, drive business efficiency through strong supplier relationships and streamlined sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product management, procurement, sales operations, and administration for a high-performing agricultural rental unit.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal demand and operational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers.
