About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Mechanical Technician to join our team at Sanitarium. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
  • Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification or dual trade
  • Preferred experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry or willingness to learn
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
