Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stable Keeper to join our team at Westgate Resorts. As a Stable Keeper, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our equine facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed and Water Management: Measure, mix, and apportion feed and feed supplements according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Animal Grooming: Wash, brush, trim, and curry each animal's coat to clean and improve their appearance.
  • Health and Wellness: Inspect animals for disease, illness, and injury and treat animals according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean saddles and bridles to ensure the best quality and cleanliness, and whitewash stables and clean animal quarters.
  • Animal Exercise and Care: Exercise animals and assist with other tasks as necessary.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to drive company golf carts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
