As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
We are seeking an individual with solid knowledge of Opera PMS or similar reservation systems, as well as excellent administration and organizational skills. You will be required to work in a fast-paced team environment, maintain immaculate grooming standards, and perform shift work including overnight shifts, working weekends and public holidays.
The ideal candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a willingness to learn new skills. Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests at check-in, cross-referencing reservation details and fare-welling guests at checkout
- Attend to incoming calls by answering queries and providing outstanding guest service
- E nsure all guest requests are accurately actioned with prompt follow-through
- Create innovative ways to up-sell additional services to our guests
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and issuing of room keys
- Demonstrate a high professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Perform shift work, including overnight shifts, working weekends and public holidays
- Maintain immaculate grooming standards
- Solid knowledge of Opera PMS or similar reservation systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong eye for detail to ensure all data is entered correctly
- Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
- A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written
- Outstanding administration and organisational skills
- Previous work experience in a five-star hotel in Front Office or Reservations environment
- Flexibility and availability to work early or evening shifts across 7 days of the week, including public holidays where necessary
