A well-planned procurement process ensures that stock is in place before it's needed. Orders go out on time, and customers feel supported. This role will help make this happen.
The Business
Our company operates in two complementary arms - a commercial service and independent research. We partner with growers to deliver value beyond products, strengthening farm performance and industry innovation.
The Role
This newly created position will oversee and improve our commercial operations from our Moree branch. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory planning and supplier relationships
- Coordinating merchandise sales, orders, and deliveries
- Anticipating customer needs and ensuring reliable, timely service
- Identifying opportunities to improve stock control, logistics, and service delivery
We're open to candidates at different career stages; whether you're earlier in your journey or a seasoned professional looking for your next challenge. You'll bring:
- Commercial awareness and an interest in agriculture and regional industries
- The ability to connect with rural communities and build trust
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to planning
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office essential)
- Agsafe accreditation (or the willingness to obtain it)
Why Work With Us?
You'll be part of a respected agribusiness with a strong local reputation. Our team is supportive, and we offer a competitive salary matched to experience, plus bonus potential and vehicle access.
Requirements
For this role, you'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proactive and adaptable approach. If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, please apply.
