Procurement Manager - Indirect

This role is a key opportunity to join our Procurement Team and take on the challenge of developing and executing Indirect procurement category strategies across Australia and New Zealand with a focus on Transport & Warehousing.

You will be able to identify, evaluate, negotiate, appoint, and manage suppliers in a way that creates competitive advantage and leverages PepsiCo scale and global footprint.

About This Role

This position involves delivering sustainable supply solutions building partnerships with key strategic suppliers, owning the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, contract drafting, managing cost reduction activities and best practice tools and methods within a complex and varied supplier environment.

  • Deliver high-quality supplier relationships while reducing costs
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
  • Analyse data to inform purchasing decisions
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
About You

We are looking for someone with highly effective interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation and influencing abilities, and demonstrated ability to develop credible business relationships with people across the business.

Qualifications
  • PREFERRED CIPSA or equivalent qualification highly desirable
  • Deep knowledge of FMCG with 7 years minimum in procurement roles and experience in category management
  • Sound knowledge of supply market fundamentals, strategic sourcing processes, and indirect category related procurement preferred
  • Excellent balance of analytical and negotiation skills
  • Contract writing risk analysis liabilities and indemnities SLA's general commercial terms
  • Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls
