Job Title: Access Centre Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access Centre Clerk to join our team.

  • Opening mail on a daily basis, stamping with received date and sorting as appropriate
  • Checking referrals for essential demographic data content and contacting referrers regarding referrals
  • Registering all referred patients & referral details into iPM / EPIC (or updating registration information if patient already has an MRN)
  • Ensuring that any results or clinical information regarding a referral is appropriately filed and available for clinical staff to review within the patient record

The Clinic Access Centre acts as a central point for receiving and processing all outpatient referrals for public and private clinics. As an Access Centre Clerk, you will be responsible for performing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Requirements:
  • At least three years' clerical experience
  • Expertise in data entry
  • Previous experience using patient management software
  • High-level organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
