Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to deliver an evolving central data ecosystem, playing a significant part in the delivery of a shared cloud data platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy technical functionality against the shared cloud data platform and existing warehouse platforms.
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to streamline data delivery.
  • Design and implement process improvements: automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, redesign infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Build infrastructure and data products for optimal extraction, loading, and transformation of data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Ensure sensitive data is secured through well-architected data patterns.
  • Develop informative visualizations to enable informed business decisions.
About You
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in the data space as a developer.
  • 5 years' experience as a Senior Data Engineer or equivalent in Azure/Dbx.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge in relational databases with queries and performance tuning.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience performing root cause analysis on data processes to answer specific business questions.
  • Success in engaging with business stakeholders for requirements, feedback, and advisory.
