Overview

Enterprise Architect – Core Functions Domain (12-month contract) at Data#3. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a major transformation program within a leading resources organisation.

This role focuses on capability-driven planning, defining current and target states, and producing strategies and roadmaps that guide transformation. You will ensure that business and technology investments are strategically aligned.

Base pay range

A$130.00/hr - A$140.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Domain Owner (Head of Architecture) to co-develop strategies, priorities, and roadmaps.
  • Work with Capability Owners to establish and maintain the current and target capability model.
  • Design, maintain, and communicate the domain strategy, technology roadmap, and transformation pathways.
  • Define and enforce architecture guardrails that standardise technologies, services, and patterns.
  • Shape and assure investments to ensure alignment with roadmaps and capability models.
  • Provide governance oversight across architecture practices within the domain.
  • Scan and integrate emerging technologies and practices to strengthen capabilities and deliver business value.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and capability modelling.
  • Strong understanding of corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Governance, or other enabling services.
  • Ability to develop roadmaps, strategies, and investment portfolios that align to enterprise targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong systems thinking, connecting process, data, technology, and organisation layers.
