About the Opportunity

This role is an exciting opportunity to join Abbott Medical Australia, a leading medical device company that helps thousands of people worldwide. As a Clinical Research Associate, you will play a critical part in our clinical trials team, working closely with investigators and site staff to ensure the successful delivery of our studies.

As a key contact between the study site staff and Abbott Australia, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including ICH GCP/ISO 14155, and collecting and maintaining regulatory documentation.

You will work closely with our Clinical Operations Manager to identify and select investigators for clinical studies, participate in investigator meetings, and conduct initiation visits, routine monitoring visits, and study close-out visits. You will also be responsible for training site staff as required, ensuring protocol compliance, and accurate collection of data on case report forms through source document verification.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including investigators, site staff, and Abbott's headquarters and country offices.
