We are seeking a skilled and creative Fashion Designer/Product Developer to join our team on a 6 month contract. This role will play a crucial part in driving the conception and development of all product, focusing on innovation, creativity and customer centricity.

  • Lead the design direction and create captivating collections that meet brand expectations.
  • Maintain close links with manufacturers to ensure seamless handover of developments and timely submission of accurate tech packs.
  • Communicate effectively with the Design Team to resolve critical design issues and highlight key developments.
  • Select, develop and source fabrications, colours and trims in line with company standards.
  • Attend fit sessions and use technical ability to achieve best fit and approve final samples.
  • Approve all details of final product to meet original design brief requirements.
  • Understand manufacturing structures to recognize cost and manufacturing opportunities for each design submitted.
  • Participate in range planning meetings to ensure balanced styling, colour and fabrications.
  • Understand and drive company-wide strategies, objectives and key results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Junior Designer/Designer role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong trend forecasting skills with commercial eye for fashion.
  • Ability to time manage workload in fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
