Product Development Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled product developer to join our team and drive innovation in fashion product development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive creativity and innovation in product development through close collaboration with the design team.
  • Maintain effective relationships with manufacturers to ensure seamless handovers and accurate sample technical packs.
  • Communicate regularly with the Design Team to address critical design issues and developments.
  • Select, develop, and source fabrics, colours, trims, etc., in line with industry standards.
  • Attend fit sessions and use technical expertise to ensure best fits are achieved and approve final samples when required.
  • Approve all details of final products according to original design briefs.
  • Understand manufacturing structures to recognize cost and manufacturing opportunities for every design submitted.
  • Participate in range planning meetings to ensure balanced styling, colour, and fabrications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in product development or design.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong trend forecasting skills with a commercial eye for fashion.
  • Able to time-manage workloads in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
