Project Manager

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Project Manager to lead a major campus development in the Cairns CBD.

About the Position

You will manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion, operating in a client-side role. You will oversee stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management, while coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

This position offers autonomy within a supportive and outcomes-focused team that values integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, and completion.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience leading major infrastructure projects through all phases.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of project management frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
