About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back of House Supervisor to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily and weekly tasks, including reporting, handling deliveries, and maintaining the order and tidiness of the back of house area.
  • Manage Back of House Assistants, ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, stock levels are replenished, and products are priced and tagged correctly.
  • Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring deadlines are adhered to and stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate Stock Take with the Store Manager, Profit Protection, and Back of House Team.
  • Ensure Back of House standards are maintained in line with company expectations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar position within retail or a like industry.
  • Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is favourable, but not essential.
  • Experience managing and coaching a team.
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong operational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals.
  • An ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career, and learn new skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers.
