Employment Experience Transformation Leader

This pivotal role requires a high-performing individual to oversee payroll across multiple jurisdictions: Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global payroll team through clear leadership, fostering collaboration and growth. Continuous improvement and development opportunities will be encouraged within the team.

  • Manage and oversee the payroll function ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Drive key transformation projects working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Able to communicate complex payroll situations clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Detail-oriented and meticulous, able to quickly identify anomalies and validate data accuracy.

A proactive stakeholder manager adopting a business partner mindset that builds trust and positions Finance as a customer-focused enabler.

Highly organised, skilled at creating structure and clarity amid ambiguity in a rapidly growing business environment.

A problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude who develops practical solutions and knows when to seek input.

A people manager who enjoys coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential.

10+ years of experience in payroll roles with exposure to multi-jurisdiction payrolls.

Deep familiarity with payroll compliance regimes in APAC, North America, and EMEA and proven experience managing third-party compliance providers (must-have: US & AU; nice-to-have: UK, Germany, NZ).

Experience in successfully leading or being a key member of payroll transformation project(s).

Experience working in hyper-growth environments adapting payroll functions to scale rapidly.
