At our organisation, we're pushing the boundaries of digital innovation to create life-changing health solutions. Our mission is ambitious: empower individuals worldwide to unlock their full mental potential and improve their well-being.
We're not just building software – we're redefining the future of healthcare. Our science-backed digital programs address pressing conditions like IBS, menopause, and anxiety, demonstrating that technology can deliver remarkable health outcomes at scale. We've already made a significant impact on hundreds of thousands of people globally, and we're only just beginning.
You'll play a pivotal role in crafting seamless, high-quality digital experiences that deliver real therapeutic value to our users as a Senior Software Engineer. With at least 5 years of software development experience, ideally encompassing mobile and web expertise, you'll bring deep knowledge in designing performant, scalable, and intuitive applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and clinical experts to deliver features that are both technically robust and user-centric.
In addition to your software expertise, you'll also contribute to driving the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure with 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience. From CI/CD pipelines to observability tooling and infrastructure-as-code, you'll be instrumental in evolving our engineering systems to support a growing, high-impact product suite.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who's comfortable owning end-to-end delivery, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and is excited to apply both software and DevOps skills to enhance the health and wellbeing of real people worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of development in an Agile team, ensuring reliable, scalable systems and exceptional user experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, and deploy impactful features across web and mobile platforms.
- Develop and maintain high-quality full-stack solutions, emphasizing performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Lead DevOps practices, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, system observability, and incident management.
- Take full ownership of features from initial design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting best practices in engineering, security, data privacy, and compliance.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Proven expertise in software engineering and DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation and CI/CD.
- Strong ability to design, develop, and maintain clean, reliable code and infrastructure, aligned with best practices.
- Proven expertise in leading technical initiatives, ensuring effective end-to-end delivery and operational stability.
- Skilled in automated testing, code reviews, and maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on system resilience, security, performance, and user experience.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring teams, contributing positively to recruitment, and promoting organisational values.
Why Join Us?
- Impact That Matters: Make meaningful impacts improving user well-being through cutting-edge digital health solutions.
- Innovation: Enjoy autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to drive technical innovation.
- Growth-Minded Culture: Work within a growth-oriented, supportive, and inclusive culture backed by strong values.
