Job Title: Multi Skilled Roads Worker

We are seeking a multi skilled professional to join our team as a roads worker. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take on new challenges and develop their skills in a dynamic work environment.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality of work. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a construction or infrastructure setting and hold relevant tickets and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including traffic control, asphalt laying, sign repairs, concreting, vegetation maintenance, pit repairs and pavement cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control traffic using Stop/Slow bat
  • Lay asphalt, repair signs, perform concreting, maintain vegetation, repair pits, clean pavements, and perform yard clean up
  • Implement traffic management plans
  • Liaise with clients to ensure requirements align with traffic management plans
  • Document site alterations to traffic management plans
  • Ensure all equipment is reloaded onto vehicles as per procedure and stored safely
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Traffic Control tickets
  • OHS Construction Industry White Card
  • TMA ticket
  • HR licence
