Job Description:

The Randstad Australia team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated EL1 Change Manager to lead a critical program within a prominent Federal Government department.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a program that will enhance Australia's national security interests and deliver on an important international commitment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change strategies, including interventions, communications, and governance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and direct capability uplift of a partner nation team.
  • Manage program risks and issues, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing direction and guidance to achieve program goals.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance forums.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
Requirements:
  • Change Management Expertise: Strong background in change management, including strategy development and implementation within complex projects.
  • Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to lead a team independently, manage multiple priorities, and work with broad direction.
  • Cultural Awareness: Experience working on culturally sensitive projects, with a proven ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders respectfully.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, assess risks, and develop solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Well-developed capacity for collaboration and communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
