Compliance Manager Role Overview

This position involves overseeing the company's compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies and policies.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including NHVR, CoR, WHS, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high compliance standards.
  • Investigate and address any compliance breaches, incidents, or hazards promptly.
  • Manage driver training, induction, and ongoing compliance requirements effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports for compliance purposes.
  • Foster strong relationships with government agencies and industry regulators as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in managing compliance within a transport or logistics setting.
  • A solid understanding of NHVR, CoR, WHS, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Relevant qualifications in compliance, WHS, or transport management are highly regarded.
