Midwife Care Specialist

Western District Health Service is seeking a skilled Midwife Care Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, woman-centered midwifery care to women and their families across the birthing continuum.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families in a modified case load model of midwifery care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, woman-centered care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with women and their families to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Bachelor of Nursing and Grad Diploma in Midwifery or Direct Entry Bachelor of Midwifery.
- Registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for consumers.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Current Driver's Licence.
