We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team at Western District Health Service. As a key member of our Maternity Service, you will provide individualized, woman-centered midwifery care to women and their families across the birthing continuum.
Key Responsibilities- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families in a modified caseload model of midwifery care.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic midwifery team to provide holistic, woman-centered maternity care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with women, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of midwifery care policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance midwifery skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor of Nursing and Grad Diploma in Midwifery or Direct Entry Bachelor of Midwifery.
- Registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Current Driver's Licence.
