Physiotherapy Leadership Role

The successful candidate will lead the physiotherapy service, guiding and supporting an interdisciplinary team to enhance community rehabilitation services in a community-based setting.

With strong professional mentorship, you'll play a key role in developing junior staff and continually improving the quality of care delivered to our community.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and actively support innovation and quality improvement initiatives. To achieve this, you will work closely with CRP Team Leaders and Senior Clinicians across professions.

  • Significant experience in rehabilitation (community based experience desirable)
  • Strong commitment to high quality patient care
  • Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Advanced clinical skills in managing a complex caseload using a client-centred approach
  • Sound clinical reasoning skills within the field of rehabilitation including supervision and development of staff
  • High level communication and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative practice and quality improvement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CRP Team Leaders in overseeing operational needs of the service
  • Lead delivery of a high-quality, accessible, and coordinated service to clients
  • Provide clinical supervision and foster evidence-based practice among physiotherapy staff
  • Support CRP Team Leader in achieving KPIs and service targets as set by Eastern Health leadership
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold a current Victorian Driver's Licence for site visits and community travel
