About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Product Manager to join our high-performing Womenswear department. This role will support the Product Manager in all aspects of buying and product development, with a focus on understanding the brand's target market and selecting commercial products that align with seasonal trends and brand direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior buying managers to develop and execute seasonal ranges from concept to delivery
  • Manage the garment development process, including fabric selection, trim sourcing, and color palette development
  • Develop buying plans that engage our customers and drive sales growth
  • Benchmark competitors to optimize our product range and stay ahead of market trends
  • Research and analyze market trends, product innovation, and competitor activity
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure value-for-money products that meet margin targets
  • Liaise with direct suppliers across multiple countries to ensure seamless production and delivery
  • Manage the critical path and production plan to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Monitor and analyze sales and margin performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to drive the brand's competitive edge

Requirements

  • Proven experience in buying and product development, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage production and critical path processes
  • Experience working with direct vendors across multiple geographies
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and manage budgets and margin calculations
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
