Job Role:

Procurement specialist sought to oversee the effective functioning of a maintenance store and team, promoting efficiency and best practices in purchasing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize procurement processes for goods and services
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance store parts inventory to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement improved purchasing business strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide leadership and support to the maintenance team, ensuring seamless operations
  • Process SAP Spare Parts numbers and workflows, as well as maintenance transactions with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Corporate Procurement to address supplier relationships and inventory management issues
  • Analyze data to present informed procurement decisions and influence strategic direction
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc spend base reporting to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, recording and communicating effectively with both parties

About You:

  • Degree in supply chain management or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in purchasing/buying inventory management roles
  • Proficiency in SAP sourcing modules and Microsoft Office suite essential
  • Background in FMCG manufacturing an advantage
