Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Description:Our company is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of procurement and planning for designated purchased products.
You will effectively manage designated products for relevant Distribution Centers to optimize and manage the end-to-end planning process, ensuring the Distribution Planning strategy is achieved.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all planning activities, resources, and focus for assigned areas - customers, products, and plants.
- Act as the first point of contact/escalation point for any issues, queries, and questions for assigned areas.
- Daily scheduling of new demands in SAP within 48 hours.
- Create and maintain supply orders in line with demands.
- Daily MRP execution for all requirements planning.
- Maintain date accuracy on orders including inbound supply and customer orders.
- Track internal and external supply orders to ensure they ship on time.
- Align SAP with the latest lead time, including manufacturing and transit time.
- Manage and escalate any shipment delays that may affect customer ship dates.
- Ensure supply is available on time to make physical shipment to the customer.
- Communicate with logistics and external parties to provide updates on incoming supply, expediting the process where possible.
- Attend and drive daily meetings with key stakeholders to ensure materials are available to meet the customer-required date.
- Provide analysis and present to internal stakeholders on KPIs such as DIFOT (OTP), Inventory, and supply risks on a weekly basis.
- Analyze safety stocks, lead times, shipping routes, and forecast to provide recommendations to Demand Planning and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze, report on, and suggest actions to clear slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Maintain planning master data to ensure accurate planning and replenishment.
- Identify changes to Planning master data through periodic review of data and performance.
- Maintain all purchase and sales documents in SAP to reflect up-to-date information.
- Maintain planning process and ERP systems utilizing global best practices.
- Maintain work instructions and procedure documents in a defined and controlled manner.
- Provide support to Demand Planner/Product Management on supply and forecast review and recommend forecast changes as required.
- Work with vendors, including inter-entity, external, and contract manufacturers, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of orders.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely processing of inventory and orders.
- Manage inventory replenishment using agreed methodology and tools to deliver exceptional customer service and minimized inventory.
- Coordinate the introduction of new products and engineering changes to existing products. Advise availability for new products and effective dates for product changes to control product and material inventory.
- Accurately and effectively communicate to Team Lead, Manager, Customer Service, Sales, and Product Management issues and opportunities as they arise.
- Complete other duties as assigned by manager.
- Proactively monitor and report expected out-of-stocks and deviations for defined KPIs, focusing on root causes and issue resolving.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide cross-functional support to other planning team members and manager.
- SAP experience is essential.
- Preferably completed APICS CPIM.
- Ability to liaise between Customer Service, Vendors, Purchasing, Sales, Product Line Management, and Demand Management.
