Inventory Specialist

Janus Electric's breakthrough technology utilises current electrical infrastructure to create a 100% carbon-zero solution for electrifying Australia's road transport fleet using renewable energy.

The role requires receiving, checking and examining the inventory of stock that arrives in the warehouse and storage facility where stock is held. Incoming goods are cross-referenced against orders and invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies.

  • Assist with unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents
  • Receive, inspect and reconcile incoming goods for accuracy and quality against invoices and against purchase orders within Fishbowl software
  • Pack and weigh goods and seal boxes for storage
  • Label goods with details of part numbers and storage location as applicable
  • Store goods in an organised manner ensuring easy retrieval
  • Pick and pack internal and external orders accurately and efficiently
  • Dispatch goods to the appropriate departments or customers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Fishbowl software
  • Conduct weekly stock takes and reconcile discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies
  • Ensure the store is clean, organised and complies with safety standards
  • Assist with the documentation of work completed and parts used
  • Operate machines and handling equipment to lift, place and remove goods on elevated levels
