About us

We are seeking a highly skilled research professional to work on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) and Educational Data Mining (EDM) projects. You will conduct high-quality research, lead or contribute to publications and research grant applications, and provide technical support across the projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in AIED and EDM, designing algorithms and methods for adaptive and personalised feedback, modelling learning behaviours with sequence and deep learning methods, and generating interpretable insights through novel analytics and dashboards.
  • Lead or contribute to publications and research grant applications.
  • Provide technical support across the projects.
Requirements:
  • PhD (or near completion) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, HCI, or relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated contributions to publications in top-tier conferences and journals in data mining/machine learning, AIED, and EDM.
  • Strong technical expertise in data mining, data management, and machine learning.
  • Motivation to conduct interdisciplinary work and engage with researchers from other fields and industry partners.
