About Our Company

We are a copper mining firm dedicated to exploration, development, acquisition, and operational excellence. Guided by the values of safety, responsibility, delivery, and transparency, we see a bright future for copper due to its critical role in the transition to green energy.

We own and operate the Eloise Copper Mine, an underground operation with conventional crush-grind-float processing that produces high-quality copper-gold concentrate. An expansion of our operation is now underway following the acquisition of the nearby Jericho resource. In addition, we hold a portfolio of copper and gold exploration projects across Australia.

The Role

This is a FIFO position from Brisbane. Local candidates from Cloncurry and surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are strongly encouraged to apply. The role is permanent and offered on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with accommodation provided onsite at Eloise Copper Mine (65km from Cloncurry).

  • Develop safe and effective drill and blast designs.
  • Capture and report daily production data.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating mining activities.
  • Develop and communicate weekly and 13-week mine schedules.
  • Undertake project management and project work as required.
  • Support a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Liaise with development and production teams to deliver schedules efficiently.
About You

We seek candidates with the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years' mining engineering experience.
  • Strong practical and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of underground metalliferous mining.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Deswik software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
