About the Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, executing PR campaigns, and contributing to media outreach and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep understanding of your client's business and develop a strong rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Understand your client's individual PR objectives, their brand, market, competitors, and individual products/services.
  • Remain fully across all aspects of your account – asking questions and being engaged in client meetings and work-in-progress sessions.
  • Continuously bring new and innovative ideas to the table, suggest ideas, and share thoughts with colleagues.
  • Keep track of account KPIs and deliverables.
  • Respond promptly to clients on behalf of the team when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news and trends by reading various publications on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Develop an understanding of both client and company best practices and ensure they are adhered to and delivered.
Media And Influencer Support
  • Become knowledgeable about the media landscape and understand how journalists operate.
  • Proactively build and maintain a database of media contacts.
  • Develop pitching skills by taking opportunities to practice calling and pitching to journalists.
  • Create effective email correspondence to follow up pitches.
  • Build robust, accurate, and well-researched media lists relevant to specific campaigns and clients.
Sales And Business Development
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to identify areas for growth and development.
  • Share ideas for content marketing channels.
  • Showcase awareness of company services and core propositions.
  • Participate in company development and growth initiatives.
  • Show interest in areas beyond traditional PR.
  • Share suggestions on improving agency operations.
