Job Title: Senior Lease Administrator

Job Description:

The role of a Senior Lease Administrator involves overseeing the management of lease agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in real estate, commerce, finance, or a legal field, or equivalent experience. Advanced Excel skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of property management/lease administration systems are also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading all base reporting, performance monitoring, and compliance requirements with a high degree of independence. You will also monitor lease events, compile performance data for Property Managers and Account Directors, and conduct monthly audit compliance reporting.

Additionally, you will manage rental reconciliations, vendor/landlord details, and approve landlord payments. You will maintain data integrity through regular audits and knowledge of lease abstractions and Rent Roll reporting.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities, along with a positive approach to meeting stakeholder needs, are highly valued in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in Real Estate, Commerce, Finance, or Legal field OR 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to understand commercial contracts and interpret Rent Roll reporting with strong knowledge of accounting reconciliation between AP and AR
  • Advanced Excel skills with meticulous attention to detail and experience with property management/lease administration systems
