Job Title

Treasury Analyst is a role that involves managing debt and liquidity position, mitigating financial risks within the business. The Group Treasury team works closely with Comcast's corporate Treasury team based in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely Group Reporting for monthly Finance Charges and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of monthly Treasury related IFRS-US GAAP and Purchase Price adjustments to be included in monthly reporting submission to Comcast.
  • Preparation of monthly Inter-Company loan matrix to ensure all financing trades are correctly recorded in the TMS.
  • Conduct monthly reporting and validation of FX hedge accounting entries for the three Sky territories in conjunction with the Treasury Controller.
  • Analytical analysis of borrowings and derivative movements including drivers for derivative mark-to-market changes (FX, IR, etc.).
  • Hedge accounting configuration for transactional FX exposures and preparation of hedge documentation for both entity and group level monthly following execution of transactional FX forwards.
  • Ensure deals are transacted in accordance with the Treasury Policy.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs.
  • Support monthly/quarterly reporting to Comcast Accounting and Treasury functions.
  • Act as compliance manager for all Treasury controls, ensuring timely evidence is provided by team members.
  • Review and enhance use of the Treasury Management System and increase automated reporting; assess unutilised system functionality.
  • Work closely with the wider organisation, keeping in touch with business developments.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Finalist/Newly qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/ACT) qualification.
  • Strong experience within similar role within Treasury.
  • Cash management experience.
  • Ideal background would be a group background, understanding of parent companies and how reporting is complied.
  • Good communication skills, with phenomenal attention to detail.
