About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team at Connect Hearing in Warwick and Stanthorpe, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnose hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests.
  • Report assessment results and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
  • Recommend solutions for hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, and assistive listening devices, and provide aural rehabilitation programs.
  • Provide counseling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.
  • Assist in the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
  • Provide treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders related to age, disability, or injury.
Requirements
  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
  • Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
  • Current QP number.
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Ability to network with GP's and other allied health professionals.
