We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team at Endeavour Group. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and training of our master data management initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts to identify and agree on business and technical requirements.
- Assist in documenting, reviewing, and supporting approvals of the project scope/requirements.
- Participate in workshops and ensure the inclusion of relevant team members from the business to validate the design being implemented.
- Work with the Pillar, Technical, and Business Teams to ensure all possible due diligence is carried out prior to the go-live.
- Travel to stores and/or interstate offices may be required to gather requirements.
- Support testing, assist to create test scripts, perform testing, and provide potential solutions to resolve errors.
- Work with Data Governance Analysts, Integration and Data Engineers, System Owners, and/or Business Data Owners to ensure that data sources within the solution are validated.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in an insights-driven business and/or data analyst role.
- Advanced proficiency in various data and insight-based software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets, database querying, and Tableau.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong change management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, facilitate, and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to motivate others, track progress, and collaborate effectively with peers.
- Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Able to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Positive and 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM).
