Warehouse Material Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Mount Pleasant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trucks with products, pallets, or containers in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Picking and packing products according to customer orders with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Auditing and verifying the accuracy of inventory records to ensure that they match the actual stock levels.
  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials around the warehouse.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment that meets company standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the warehouse.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • At least one (1) year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience is preferred.
  • A valid Forklift Operator's License certified by a recognized authority is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs in a safe and controlled manner.
