We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while enjoying a unique culture.
This position requires consistent improvement and maintenance of high professional customer satisfaction through troubleshooting and resolving technical repair issues. You will follow documented protocols for first-contact resolution, escalations to second-level support, and follow-up to resolve dealer technical concerns.
Your daily responsibilities include:
- Providing support resources and repair strategies to dealerships
- Assisting dealers with technical assistance requests
- Offering real-time technical assistance to reduce the total number of claims requiring technical escalation and contacts per claim
- Performing detailed claim analysis and adjudication according to contract terms and contact handling processes
- Communicating with dealers and repair facilities in a professional and knowledgeable manner regarding claim adjudication and authorization status
- Properly logging all dealer contacts into the appropriate system for accurate historical records
- Assisting dealers via phone and email
- Walking dealers through escalated technical concerns
- Escalating concerns to additional support when needed
- Maintaining a positive work environment that fosters team performance and open communication
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of customer service experience required
- 2+ years of automotive technical knowledge or equivalent experience required
- Diesel, Gas, Hybrid, and EV engine diagnosis and repair experience
- ASE, manufacturer, or state technician certifications in automotive service and/or repair
- Strong communication, problem-resolution, and decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze repair shop diagnosis information for coverage eligibility
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Please note that you must be able to work onsite in Melbourne, Florida, with an 8-hour shift Monday-Friday between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm EST, 5 days per week.
