  • Production Management: Ensure the smooth operation of the production facility by implementing industry best practices and adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Packaging Standards: Guarantee that produce is packed to the highest standard using efficient techniques.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular product inspections to ensure quality and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff, manage rosters, handle timesheets, and facilitate team meetings.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and efficiency.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean environment, adhere to all food safety regulations, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

To be successful, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the bakery industry.
  • Proven experience in a production capacity.
  • A strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
  • The ability to work hands-on and lead a team effectively.
  • Good people leadership skills and teamwork abilities.
