Electrical Leadership Role

About the Position:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our design and engineering efforts. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for leading design projects and providing engineering support to our naval capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide electrical engineering expertise to onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities.
• Evaluate designs against technical requirements, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Develop and maintain Design Authority signatory status and Chartered status from Engineers Australia.
• Create detailed task plans, including staffing, cost, schedule, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure quality and system safety standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical Systems design and support.
Proficiency in CAD software and technical writing.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of safety/risk management principles.
Excellent technical skills and broad exposure to technical issues.
Experience working with shipbuilding, repair, and Navy systems.
