Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers and technicians in delivering high-quality electrical engineering projects.

Job Description:

  • Lead a dynamic team of Electrical Engineers and Technicians/Draftspersons, providing resource and technical leadership for Electrical Engineering projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Discipline - Electrical Engineering, ensuring excellence in engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Provide discipline leadership within AWS, offering guidance and support to bids, projects, and in-service capabilities.
  • Hold Level 2 Engineering Authority in the field of Electrical Engineering, undertaking engineering reviews and approvals.
  • Coordinate concurrent projects and bid work, managing multiple stakeholders and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering &/or Masters qualification. Chartered Professional Engineer (EA) preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with expertise in Naval or Maritime Platforms.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with stakeholder management experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and strategic vision.
