About The Role
Our organization has an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordinator to work for the Coordinated Response Service (CRS) team.
This role provides crucial support in the form of crisis interventions to families experiencing high risk family and domestic violence. It involves undertaking assessments and providing interventions in collaboration with police and child protection officers.
This position requires a strong understanding of complex issues facing people who experience chaotic life circumstances such as homelessness, AOD use, family/domestic violence, and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide targeted interventions in collaboration with law enforcement and child welfare agencies
- Deliver crisis support to families at risk of severe harm or trauma
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, their networks, and multiple stakeholders
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting using analytical reasoning skills
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize service delivery and outcomes
Qualifications And Skills
- Relevant qualifications in a related field at degree, diploma, or certificate level
- Personal goal-setting skills that contribute to achieving client objectives
- Advanced report-writing abilities using analytical reasoning
- Ability to mentor and support colleagues while maintaining professional boundaries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
Requirements
- Current driver's license
- National Police Certificate
- International Police Certificate (if applicable)
