Our organisation is seeking an experienced Aged and Home Care Worker to join our team in Nambucca Heads, Bellingen, Urunga and Macksville. As a key member of our Healthy Ageing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and well-being.

  • Assistance with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Domestic assistance including cleaning and laundry
  • Assisted shopping and client appointments
  • Respite care to provide relief to family members or carers
  • Meal preparation and social support to enhance the customer's quality of life

Shifts will vary in duration, with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (kms travelled between customers also claimable)

Requirements

  • Available for shifts across Monday to Sunday between 8am and 6pm with weekend availability a must
  • Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing etc.)
  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
  • Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
