Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Oaks Broome Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the daily kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and service to our guests.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of chefs to deliver high-quality dishes and exceptional service
  • Developing and implementing new menu items and culinary concepts
  • Maintaining stock control and inventory management
  • Investigating and resolving food safety and quality issues
  • Coaching and mentoring junior chefs to improve their skills and knowledge

In return for your expertise and dedication, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 (excluding superannuation) and a comprehensive benefits package, including 50% discounts on accommodation across all Minor Hotel brands in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Professional trade qualification in culinary arts
  • Food Safety Certificate
