Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Oaks Broome Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to achieve high standards of quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to our guests' tastes.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to achieve business objectives and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Professional trade qualification in culinary arts.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
