About the Job

This short-term contract is ideal for a commercially focused finance professional with experience in business partnering and strong month-end and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with key contract KPIs.

  • Present meaningful insights to operational and executive stakeholders.

  • Track initiatives and lead monthly accruals, prepayments, and P&L commentary.

  • Balance sheet reconciliation, aged item management, and financial query resolution.

Budget Planning & Forecasting

  • Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

  • Partner with business streams to build bottom-up property-level cost bases.

  • Identify risks, deliver variance analysis, and support decision-making.

  • Present outputs to stakeholders across facilities management, procurement, etc.

Controls & Compliance Management

  • Maintain ownership of client finance-related controls and ensure compliance with internal standards.

  • Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.

  • Uphold SOX control standards.

Project Support & Relationship Management

  • Manage client P&Ls and contribute to monthly performance reviews.

  • Support the development of operating plans and finance initiatives.

  • Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance process and system efficiencies.

About You

  • You must be CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.

  • Strong background in finance business partnering, ideally within property, facilities, or commercial service industries.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders.

  • Confident communicator with strong commercial acumen.

  • Ability to start immediately or at short notice.
