About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including feeders, transformers, generators, and UPS systems.
  • Conduct health and safety risk assessments and implement control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard.
  • Monitor building management systems (BMS) and respond to alarm conditions.
  • Investigate faults and identify root causes to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Prepare accurate and timely service reports and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the building's infrastructure and layout.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • NSW Electrical License or NSW HVAC/Refrigeration License.
  • Experience with health and safety risk assessments and control measures.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in data center environments.
  • Experience with maintenance scheduling and subcontractor management.
  • Good customer relationship skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
