Project Manager - Government Projects



RPS Group is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering client-side Government projects within our Project Management division.



The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management, Refit, Property Management, and similar. You will be working in a high-performing team, based in Cairns, and will have opportunities for development and growth.



About You




  • A tertiary qualification in Construction, Property, Engineering, or similar is desirable.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, Managing Contractor, and Design and Construct is preferable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proactive and able to think strategically.
  • Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Experience in client-side Project Management in the industries mentioned above and familiarity with government procurement rules (would be preferable, but not essential).
  • AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
