Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Therapist to work with our diverse range of participants, collaborating with like-minded colleagues to deliver meaningful support services in a vibrant and welcoming environment that fosters growth and professional opportunities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative, energetic, multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication and speech disorders.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans for each client's needs and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
  • Offer guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably within the NDIS.
  • Registration with AHPRA (full or provisional registration).
  • Strong ability to interact with participants, their families, and service providers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Experience working with people with complex needs, including trauma, adults, and the elderly with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other mental health diagnoses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work to productivity targets.
  • Capacity to work within a team environment and autonomously.
  • Current WWCC (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR, and valid Australian driver's license.
