Project Engineering Opportunity

 

We are seeking a highly skilled project engineer to manage the delivery of transport, mining and pipeline infrastructure projects in the Hunter Valley.

As a senior project engineer, you will be responsible for managing project delivery while working closely with the project supervisor and team of skilled operators, surveyors and safety professionals.

You will be supported by the project manager, construction manager, along with the wider management team.

Key Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in civil engineering or similar
  • Proven experience on civil construction projects involving earthworks, pipeline and concrete construction
  • 'Hard dollar' contract experience
  • The ability to forge relationships with client representatives and stakeholders
  • Good leadership skills, to lead, mentor and develop a team to meet key project milestones and deliverables
  • Strong organisational skills to manage your time and plan effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others at various levels of business
  • Confidence in your decision-making ability, particularly the ability to think outside the square, problem-solve and act accordingly
