A senior front-end developer for Vue.js at Creative Chaos is an associate who is mainly responsible for developing front-end web client applications for various software platforms. A software engineer ensures that the functionality, security, and performance of the client application meet the design requirements and are completely bug-free. Senior engineers have a responsibility to mentor their juniors and build team strength through training.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet them.
- Estimate assigned tasks and manage project timelines.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and unit tests.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
- Tune code for enhanced security and performance.
- Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and implementing new features.
- Update issue tracking software and provide status updates.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Control versions of code and ensure smooth deployment.
- Research new technologies and frameworks to improve project outcomes.
- Lead a team of software engineers and mentor team members through training and guidance.
- Upgrade skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Evaluate candidates for open positions and contribute to the growth of the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven 5-10 years of working experience as a Vue.js/Full Stack developer.
- Highly proficient with the Vue.js framework and its core principles, including components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM.
- Experience with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Figma, and other related tools.
- Experience building animations and a passion for security and internet ethics.
- Experience working with backend tools such as Node.js and databases including MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with test automation and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of and experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
- Strong presentation skills and strong influence among team members.
