Global Energy Business Development Executive

This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and shape the future of the energy industry. You will work with a talented team using leading cloud technologies to help customers transform their business models, drive continuous innovation, and accelerate their energy transition.
We are seeking a leader who understands business and technology trends impacting line-of-business activities within the energy sector. This role requires industry background, strategic thinking, technical depth, and communication skills to further establish AWS as a leader in this space.
As an Energy Transition Leader, you will address changing customer needs, drive technology solutions, and enable the ecosystem of partners and start-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strategies and programs for the energy sector in ASEAN with a focus on Malaysia.
- Engaging with key customers to bring insights and experience in solving technology challenges and creating opportunities across the energy industry focus segments.
- Interacting with AWS stakeholders to develop scaling motions and go-to-market strategies.
- Attending and speaking at industry events, leading the process to build repeatable industry solutions and create new business opportunities.
- Working closely with sales teams to drive effective interactions with key prospects.
- Working closely with marketing teams to develop best-in-class stories for the Energy industry.
- Collaborating with Solutions Architects and Partner Teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the vertical.
- Working closely with Product and Services Teams to help evolve AWS offerings for rapid adoption by the energy industry.
